We are finally home and we will not be getting onto another airplane for awhile.  We are worn out.

Yesterday was the hardest travel day we ever had.  Our flight was delayed so we spent 4 hours in the Memphis airport. It took us 12 hours and 2 plane rides to get to San Francisco.  Kayla, for the first time, cried because she didn't want to get onto the 2nd plane.  On this last leg of our travels this year, our stroller and camera broke and our flight was delayed for the very first time in the past 9 months.  I guess God was telling us something... it's time to stay home.

We are currently staying at Marcia and Joe's house until we find an apartment in Pleasanton, CA.  We will send you our new address as soon as we get one.

By the way, I had blocked some of your e-mail addresses by accident. If you have been trying to send me a message and I didn't respond, so sorry. Please send me your messages again.

Here are our recaps for traveling in the states the past month:

# of relatives we saw?  We couldn't count them all.

# of times we packed and unpacked?  9

# of cities we visited?  7
Baltimore, MD
Rehoboth, DE
Rockville, MD
New Paltz, NY
NYC
Atlanta, GA
Memphis, TN

Best part about our trip:
Kayla and Ryan got to spend some quality time with their 3 great grandparents, great uncles and aunts, and cousins, and Anh bonded with Stephen's family.
Anh reunited with her college friends from UCSB.
We reunited with our friends that we met in Thailand.
Stephen got to play golf with Uncle Buddy and Uncle Ronnie.
We got to eat the wonderful Maryland blue crabs with Old Bay Spice 3 times.
Anh got to show all her Jewish relatives that she can cook Matzaball soup... and she made 5 pots of it.
We got to support our friend, Christine, at the Breast Cancer Walk in NYC.
We celebrated Rosh Hashanah with the Kaufmans in NYC.
We got to play poker with our cousins Sarah and Patrick in Memphis.
We got to eat the greatest breakfast in the world at Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Pauline's restaurant, Brother Junipers, in Memphis.

Love,

Anh, Stephen, Kayla, and Ryan
